What do you believe about God?
This is the million dollar question. Do you have a belief that reaches beyond the words you read in the Bible into your daily life?Is God real in your life? Do you believe that there is purpose in your pain?Unfortunately we live in a day where false teaching tells us that God is with us only when we prosper. We live in a day where people believe that life should be easy with no problems. If I work hard and follow the rules then my life will be all gravy, grand, and glorious. This is false doctrine because Jesus said, "In the world you WILL have tribulation. (John 16:33a) In this 8-session Bible study, come walk with Ramona Y. Simmons through the valley and learn biblical principles that will encourage you not to give up in the valley and to keep walking no matter the dangers you will face. Each week you will reminded of the foundational promise of Psalm 23:4a, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me..."
Principle One: Valley lows do not discriminate.
Principle Two: Valley living prepares you for the mountaintop. Principle Three: Don’t be so quick to leave the valley, mountain climbing is not for the weak and requires an extensive training regime.
Principle Four: You can experience the mountaintop while living in the valley.
Principle Five: Do not fear the climb.
Principle Six: Blessings are still obtainable in the valley and guess what it has nothing to do with you.
Principle Seven:Climbing requires you to find balance between your movements and your mind.
Principle Eight: When in the valley, sometimes you have to FAITH it until you make it.
